Sedona Skies is an indie rock band based in Austin, TX. After immersing in the L.A. music scene, lead singer Adara Ostdiek moved to Austin where she met guitarist and songwriter, Carissa Chiu. Bonding over their Arizona roots, the two singer-songwriters began playing music together as the acoustic duo, January & June. Shortly after Jeff Black (Lead Guitar), Oliver Snow (Bass), and Kurt Lammers (Drums) joined the band, forming Sedona Skies.

In 2017 the band recorded their first EP and celebrated its release headlining at Stubb's Indoors. Currently they are shooting a music video with Ballet Austin for their single "The Island". The group has also played at private events and local venues around Austin including Cheer Up Charlie's, ONE-2-ONE bar, Speakeasy, and more.

Their sound has a unique blend of powerful harmonies and dynamic guitar, bass and drum parts. Some of their influences include Fleetwood Mac, Florence and the Machine, and Amy Winehouse. With Adara's soulful lead vocals against catchy original tunes, the musical styles of Sedona Skies emulates indie rock with a touch of soul.
